JIMOLDA International Company • Ghana & Nigeria

Questions international buyers should ask before placing an order.

Buying agricultural commodities across borders requires clear specifications, realistic expectations and written agreement. These answers explain how JIMOLDA approaches buyer enquiries and what should be confirmed before a transaction proceeds.

Getting started

About sourcing and orders

Every enquiry is reviewed according to the product, destination and requirements provided by the buyer.

What products can JIMOLDA help source?

Enquiries may include ginger, soybeans, millet, maize, cassava, cashew nuts, sesame seeds, shea butter, palm oil, hibiscus flower, groundnuts and other agricultural commodities. Product availability and suitability must be checked for each request.

Do you source from Ghana and Nigeria?

JIMOLDA works with supplier connections in Ghana and Nigeria. The suitable origin depends on the commodity, quantity, specification, timing and buyer requirements, and must be confirmed during discussions.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no single minimum quantity that should be assumed for every product. Tell us your target quantity and packaging needs so the relevant supplier options can be explored.

Can you confirm stock immediately?

Not automatically. Availability, volume, readiness date and price are checked with relevant suppliers for each enquiry. Do not treat a product listing as confirmation of current stock.

How do I request a quotation?

Share the commodity, origin preference if any, quantity, required specification, packaging, destination country or port, target timing and any documents or standards required. More complete details help make the discussion practical.

Can you work with my own specification?

Yes, you can submit your requested grade, moisture or other measurable limits, size, cleanliness, packaging, labelling and inspection criteria. The supplier’s ability to meet them must be confirmed before agreement.

Quality and payment

Confirm the details before committing

For cross-border trade, put material requirements and responsibilities in writing before paying or making non-refundable arrangements.

Can I request samples?

Sample availability, cost, preparation time and delivery method depend on the product and supplier. Ask about samples early, and agree how the sample will represent the commercial lot.

Can an inspection be arranged?

Inspection or laboratory testing may be discussed through suitable independent service providers where available and agreed. Scope, timing, fees and the inspector’s role should be confirmed separately.

What payment terms do you accept?

Payment method, currency, deposit or milestone structure, fees and timing must be agreed in writing by the relevant parties for the specific transaction. Do not assume a payment term until it is confirmed.

Can you guarantee quality or delivery?

No general webpage can guarantee the quality, quantity, export approval, shipping date or final outcome of a specific transaction. Use written specifications, agreed checks and clear contractual responsibilities.

Which export documents will be needed?

Documents vary by commodity, origin, destination and route. Commercial records, customs information, origin evidence, transport documents or product-specific certificates may apply. Verify requirements with relevant authorities and qualified service providers.

Who pays for freight, inspection and certificates?

Responsibility for each charge should be stated in the quotation or contract, including the agreed delivery term and named place or port. Confirm whether quoted costs are estimates or firm offers and what they include.
